Everlast is known for manufacturing the most portable and smallest welders in the market. Their products are perfect for first-time welders, hobbyists, and professionals looking for an affordable yet powerful Everlast TIG welder.

Since Everlast's primary concern is customer satisfaction, they offer their buyers a 30-day return policy and up to a 5-year warranty on some of their welding machines. But once you read some of the Everlast TIG welder reviews below, you might have a hard time returning it. Let's start!

Everlast TIG Welder Reviews

PowerTIG 250EX

PowerTIG 250EX is an affordable Everlast TIG welder designed for professionals. But at the same time, novice welders can use it because of its intuitive and user-friendly color-coded control panel.

It is an Everlast TIG and Stick welder that can work on aluminum, steel, titanium, copper, and stainless steel. This welder can operate in AC and DC modes. It can go as low as five amps and as high as 250 amps.

In case you need to pump it up to 250 amps, don't worry because PowerTIG 250EX has a 60% duty cycle. It is easy to produce better welds with this machine because you can easily control the welding arc performance and the shielding gas protection's flow control.

PowerTIG 250EX has a 3-year warranty. However, its power input is only 220/240V, and it's quite heavy, which weighs 64 lbs.

This Everlast AC DC TIG welder is suitable for on-site jobs because of its compact size. You can use it as a stick welder where you only need 200 amps.

As for its plasma cutter capability, you can cut metal up to 5/8 in. You can do this by switching over to plasma settings with a quick disconnect gas line.

PowerTIG 200DV

This welder sports a stick hot start and arc force controls for maximum precision. You can reduce the need for wire trimming because of its burn-back timer feature.

At 250 amps, this unit has a duty cycle of 40% at 250. This means you can use the welder at max for four minutes without stopping to cool. It also has an HF Start for TIG that lets you create touch-free and effortless arc starts.

The downside of this welder is its weight, which is 80 lbs. And since it can't weld aluminum from the packaging, you need to purchase other accessories to weld this kind of metal.
